You Can't Have too Much Body Lotion
I have to be so careful about what I say in front of my son. Lately, I have been talking about how using my body lotion has been making my skin feel nicer.
Well one day he went into the bathroom and did not come out. He was in there for a good 10 minutes before I asked my husband to check on him. My husband stood at the bottom of the stairs and looked up into the bathroom. All I heard from him was, “No, you didn’t!” and then “Mom this one is yours.” I went up the stairs not sure what I was going to find. There was my 5 year old son covered in my body lotion. It was one of those moments when you scream, cry or laugh. I am still laughing every time I think about seeing my son coated in a thick layer of skin lotion.
It seems his skin was itchy or something. He thought that if my body lotion made my skin feel better it would do the same for him. You cannot fault the logic there. I just wish he had not used the whole bottle. I guess I'll have to buy more than one bottle next time.
