body lotion, skin careEvery year I buy body lotion or other moisturizing skin care products for the body to give to my aunt for Christmas. The reason I keep buying my aunt body lotion is that she has excessively dry skin on her lower legs. I first noticed this dry skin on my aunt’s legs when she came to visit me in America. She has dry skin on her legs because she is fair skinned and every time she goes somewhere with warmer weather than they have in northern England she spends far too much time in the sun. My father has warned her about sun damage and so have I but she doesn’t listen to us. I cannot force my aunt to amend her lifestyle but I can buy her a good quality body lotion each year in the attempt to help her. When I saw my aunt’s legs I thought they must give her some discomfort and I actually felt rather sorry for her. I realize there is only so much body lotion can do to help unless she stops tanning but at least it’s a start.
