In not the proudest moment of my life, I bit the dust or I should say concrete hard during an all out foot race with a friend last week. The challenge was posed as we debated what the fastest speed a human has ever run. Not being someone to back down from a challenge, we tied our shoes and bolted down the street behind the apartment complex where I live. After a solid 50 yards, we could see the finish in sight. In this case it was the front doors of our complex. Slipping on a piece of trash mashed on the edge of a curb, I lost my balance, almost saved it and then smacked the concrete face first. Luckily, my right eyebrow braced the fall.
Not lucky were the stitches I had to get. They are now out and I’m looking for skin creams to help it heal faster. There is going to be a scar but with the right skin care it shouldn’t be so bad. It’s one of those things you don’t expect to happen. So far a couple bottles of different skin creams for helping smooth out in my case a torn up eyebrow that stick out to me online. Now to narrow down and buy the skin creams.
