We all have different needs when it comes to hair care. I have very thick, course hair that is somewhere in-between curly and wavy. My hair can get dry and so can my scalp. There are some things that my wife swears by when it comes to her skin care, and if you know my wife as well as I do, then you would know that she is a skin care professional that owns and operates her own day spa; so you can definitely see that when it comes to body lotions she is very picky and specific. I am one of those people who get excited about the smallest things. My daughter laughed at me on Saturday when I actually started cheering when I received a new hair care product in the mail. Once she stopped laughing, she said that she was so glad she didn't have any friends over at the time, because she doubted their moms get excited about hair care products. Skin Care Important After Stitches Come Out

In not the proudest moment of my life, I bit the dust or I should say concrete hard during an all out foot race with a friend last week. The challenge was posed as we debated what the fastest speed a human has ever run. Not being someone to back down from a challenge, we tied our shoes and bolted down the street behind the apartment complex where I live. After a solid 50 yards, we could see the finish in sight. In this case it was the front doors of our complex. Slipping on a piece of trash mashed on the edge of a curb, I lost my balance, almost saved it and then smacked the concrete face first. Luckily, my right eyebrow braced the fall.

Not lucky were the stitches I had to get. They are now out and I’m looking for skin creams to help it heal faster. There is going to be a scar but with the right skin care it shouldn’t be so bad. It’s one of those things you don’t expect to happen. So far a couple bottles of different skin creams for helping smooth out in my case a torn up eyebrow that stick out to me online. I didn't have to read my horoscope today to learn if it would be a good one when I found this shower soap for healthy skin care. It's something I'm really excited about. It is the Hempz Sandalwood and Apple Body Scrub and just the name has me hoping it gets here soon. I think from the time I could walk, mom was teaching me the importance of proper skin care. She always used the best skin care products and it is probably why mom looks so great even though she's in her early 60's. I have friends who are twenty years younger who look older than my mom, and when I mention it to her, she blushes and says it's all in proper skin care. The reality is I do believe in many ways that she's right. Maybe because she's always stressed to me the importance of proper skin care or maybe it's just because I see it myself as something that makes a difference in the way a person ages. After all, I may be in my early 40's, but most people who guess my age think I'm in my late 20's.

I can't say that I attribute it all to skin care though, although I definitely know that it helps. I also believe getting enough sleep, eating well, and not smoking also plays a part of a healthy skin care regiment, even though some may not agree with me. I don't need to look any further than the mirror to see that it has made a difference to me, and that's the important thing.

During the winter months, I always have to pay extra attention to my skin care regiment and change the products that I use to make sure that my skin is getting the extra moisture that it needs, since it does tend to dry out in the winter. These days I’ve found that I can’t live without my body lotion. Ok, maybe I could live without it, but the truth is, the temps have been so cold and the wind so frigid this winter so far, that without body lotion I think I would probably be constantly struggling with dry skin. I’ve already noticed that I’ve had to start ordering more body lotion than usual, just because I’ve been using more than I regularly do during the winter. This winter the temps are more extreme than usual.

My best friend stopped in a few days ago about the same time the delivery guy was dropping off the body lotion that I’d ordered from online and she laughed at the quantity that I’d ordered. I told her to laugh on, but that I wanted to make sure that I didn’t run out of body lotion so that I wouldn’t end up with lizard skin, which is what I call the extremely dry skin that I get when I don’t use the lotion and the temps are extreme. Late last night I arrived home from a two week business trip. I was exhausted and really wanted to fall into bed, but I knew I needed to browse through the mail and see what bills needed to be paid, plus I really wanted to take a bath before heading to bed. Thankfully I'd changed the sheets before I left, so the sheets would be fresh and clean. I also really needed to unpack but debated waiting until the morning. Unfortunately, there were a few things that I needed out of the bags, so I decided rather than opening them and only taking out the things I needed, that I would first put everything away so I could get the suitcases out of the bedroom. After living out of a suitcase for two weeks, the last thing I wanted to do was open my eyes to see a suitcase in my bedroom again, so I pulled everything out and put it away, and put the dirty laundry in the hamper to be washed.

As I unpacked my skin creams and hair care products, I realized that I didn't see my body lotion. There are so many benefits to the awesome and affordable skin care products that they make today, especially if you shop online to find the best deals on them. I am a very lucky fellow to be married to the wonderful wife that I have! And trust me she will know how special that she is come Valentine’s Day this year, when I have a really nice jewelry gift to offer to her as a small token of my adoration. My wife has really taught me so much about proper skin care over the years that I literally owe my wrinkle free and supple skin to her prowess. In case you might be wondering, she owns a day spa, and specializes in skin care, so that has really helped in her showing me the way and the light to properly taking care of my skin each and every day. There are several steps that she has taught me that are crucial parts of my daily skin care regiment. First I wash and use a scrub skin care soap. Then I exfoliate using a very hot cloth to remove the soaps. Finally, I moisturize using great skin creams. After that, I apply a sunscreen to protect my skin from UV rays. Finally, once per week I use an easily applied skin peel that I ordered online to remove old, dead skin cells and add shine and tone my face!

I Love Lemongrass Aromatherapy Oil

Not everybody likes to use aromatherapy oil on a regular basis, but I do. I have found that aromatherapy oil has two main uses. My husband and I use aromatherapy oil to help each other out when our muscles are sore and overworked. For instance if my husband has been working at a home improvement project that requires heavy lifting his back sometimes feels sore afterwards. If it does I will get the aromatherapy oil and use it to massage all of the muscles in my husband’s back. This always offers my husband some relief. He also likes the way the aromatherapy oil I use smells. My husband is more than happy to return the favor if my back feels a little stiff.
I also use aromatherapy oil in my bath water from time to time. I have found that all it takes to make my bath water smell nice and soften my skin is a couple of drops. My favorite aromatherapy oil for the bath is lemongrass because I love the way it smells. I also find that lemongrass aromatherapy oil makes me feel revitalized, clean and refreshed.

I am not getting any younger, that is for sure. My wife and I both have longer hair, hers is far longer than mine is. Our flatiron for hair care recently died on us the other day, more than likely because we were both using it every day over the past year for our hair care. But that’s okay, we got a nice amount of usage out of that flatiron for our hair care over the past year, and now it is time to purchase a new one. I called her on the phone today while she was at work, and told that our hair care iron had finally bit the dust. She told me that once she got back home from working we could shop online for a new one together. She said her hair care professional friend had told her about some really great flatirons that we would both love and that we can easily find online. I am anxious to learn about these newer devices, because according to my wife they use ceramic plates—which make your daily hair care flatiron regiment shorter and far easier to accomplish!

I guess one might say that I am quite spoiled with the woman that I got lucky enough to be married to, because she is always doing wonderful things for me. You see my wife owns her own day spa, and she is well versed in the art of giving back massages. After I have a long day, sometimes she will offer to give me a massage. There is nothing like getting your back rubbed using scented aromatherapy oils and hot stones; just like they do at the day spa! She always has some really nifty scented aromatherapy oils to test out on me that really make me fall into a deep relaxation. This past time, she used lavender scented aromatherapy oils and some hot stones, and I can’t tell you how amazing that session was. I really felt like a new man. And boy did I ever need that massage! I pulled a back muscle while doing some yard work and I was really in a lot of pain. My wife saw me hurting and told me to lay down and take off my shirt: it was massage time!

The raw winter cold and winds can be a real skin care problem for people who must venture out into this weather. It does not take very long for wintry weather to chap and dry unprotected skin so skin care is even more important when the temperatures plummet. There are many good skin care lotions, oils, and cremes available to protect chapped dry skin and I use a few of them. I have naturally dry skin so proper skin care is vital for me unless I want my skin to become so dry it is painful. I use heavy cremes for over night putting lost moisture back into my skin, and during the day I rub body lotion on my arms and hands before going outside. I always wear gloves in combination with a good skin care hand lotion because of my naturally dry skin. I'm not joking when I say if I did not take these precautions my skin will dry out to the point my finger tips will crack and bleed. And believe me this is not fun.

I have to tell you that I am a guy, and I love using body lotion. Perhaps it is because I have been married to a skin care professional for tens years, and using body lotion daily has been grilled into my brains. Calming Aromatherapy Oil for the Reluctant Flyer

A friend of mine is anxious when he flies on airplanes, and in the past, he'd bring along a bottle of aromatherapy oil to help soothe himself. With the ban on liquids on planes now, however, he's having a harder time with it, so when I found these aromatherapy oil beads, I ordered them quickly for him. Since they're not liquids, he won't have any problems getting through airport security with them. I also heard that a study was just released that proves that shopping online is one of the best ways for people to cut their carbon footprints, and since I'm big on environmental responsibility, I will continue to buy aromatherapy oils and other things that I need online. I can't imagine getting in the car to go pick up a few things that we can get online.

I have my Internet shopping pretty well organized, too. I created a folder on my computer where I keep track of all my online transactions and use the tracking numbers to monitor the shipping. The rest of the family uses online shopping, too. When my sisters told me how wonderful online shopping was, I decided to try it out. That was a few years ago, and now I do not miss retail shopping at all. We do buy our groceries locally, however, and get our hair cut at the neighborhood salon, so we're not totally remote shoppers.
